Gladiator Thinking

Leadership Lessons from Emperor Shaka Zulu the Great:
  • Build a Sense of Mission
  • Mission is more important than convention
  • To be a conqueror, be apprenticed to a conqueror
  • Lead the charge (from the front)
  • Build a fanatical team
  • Go where angels fear to tread (Good old courage is still king)
  • Be a good strategist (or get one)
  • Know the battlefield (better than the enemy)
  • Be obsessed with world-class technologies
  • Don't believe your own PR

Some of my personal philosophies on life are these:

  • An individual can only achieve as much as he confidently believes he can.
  • Good things come to those who wait with a good plan.
  • As long as you can realistically dream, you can achieve those realistic dreams.
  • You can either consider your present condition in life as your destination of life or as one of the bus stops on your life's journey, this choice is entirely yours.

Lessons from Shaka Zulu and these personal philosophies are what I call
    "Gladiator thinking" .
